The Team

Bibitos Sisitos

We are a team of five girls from SIM, majoring in RMIT Bachelor of Communication (Professional Communication) and RMIT Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) (Top-Up).

 

Tan Kay Hwee is the editor and facilitator of the team. She is a first-year student majoring in Professional Communication at RMIT University in Singapore and has a diploma in Film Production. Her background in film has developed her creative thinking and writing skills as well as her technical skills including cinematography and video editing. She is a reflective learner and can analyse data thoroughly and view things from different perspectives to come up with innovative solutions.

 

For this project, she contributed in researching, presenting, ideating and writing. Through this process, she learnt more about working in a team with different disciplines and the importance of teamwork and communication especially since everyone had different backgrounds and practices. 

Nuradelyn Bte Md Aidzil is the Note Taker and Archivist of the team. She is a first year student majoring in Professional Communication at RMIT University in Singapore and has an advance diploma in Mass Communication. She is a creative problem-solver and independent learner and have a keen eye for design, enjoys communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.

For this project, she contributed to the team's efforts by ideating, brainstorming and writing. Through this process, she learnt and gained valuable insight on teamwork and collaborating with people of different skill sets on how to create great ideas and solve problems in future projects.

Celine Abundo Tuazon is the reflector and designer of the team. She studies a one year course in Communication Design in RMIT University and graduated from polytechnic with an Interaction Design diploma. As a visual reflector, she brings different perspectives to the team and sees every possibility, thus coming up with a vision and decisive plan about the best means of meeting the team's goals.

For this project, she contributed to the team's efforts through ideation, the planning and designing of the SLC website and app. Through this process, she has learnt to have more trust in her teammates and has come to understand more perspectives and insights when working in a team with different disciplines.

Sandra Claire Rajindran is the time keeper and graphic designer of the team. She is a Professional Communication student at RMIT University and holds a diploma in Motion Graphics and Broadcast Design. She specialises in graphic design, animation, art direction, and video editing. Her background in design has also given her creative thinking, public speaking and interpersonal skills.

For this project, she contributed to the team's efforts by leading the art direction, taking charge of the rebranding of SLC's posters and collaterals. Through this process, she gained valuable insight on teamwork and collaborating with people from different disciplinary backgrounds in a harmonious and productive manner.

Lim Zhao Tang is the leader and progress chaser of the team. She is a first-year student majoring in Professional Communication at RMIT University in Singapore and has a diploma in Sonic Arts. She specialises in audio visual technology and has a flair in languages that allows her to take up several overseas projects and communicate with people from different walks of life.

​

For this project, she contributed to the team by leading the group, distributing tasks, making sure the project is on track and delegated tasks are done. She also took part in the researching and ideating process together with her teammates. Through this project, she learnt how to work with people from different background and how to utilise everyone's strength to the team's best interest.
